This 1989 Porsche 911 Carrera 3.2 arrived from its second owner — a Prague-based enthusiast who had kept the car in consistent use for fifteen years. The original Grand Prix White had never been repainted, but decades of automated car washes, incorrect hand washing, and a single poorly executed machine polish had deposited a network of swirl marks, buffer trails, and micro-scratches across every horizontal surface.
The paint depth read at a consistent 105–115 microns across all panels, indicating no prior body repairs and sufficient material for a full multi-stage correction without risking the clear coat threshold. The decision was made to correct rather than refinish — preserving the original factory clear coat while achieving a gloss level indistinguishable from new.
